I have always been drawn to the use of line and colour. As both artist and trained colour specialist (Cert Colour Therapy), I love to create works with vivid line work or bold colour to vibrantly interact with viewers. Colour in particular has an amazing ability to prompt sensory awakening and elicit positive memories. I like to add a touch of whimsy and symbolism too, so that I can take people on an imaginative journey of self-discovery, memory and dream with my art.

I find illustrating for children to be particularly special. With strong visual memory and an ability to ‘think in pictures’, illustrations have even more power in their world. They have such fluid imaginations, readily accepting fantasy, magic, talking pigs, trains, and so much more. I enjoy using bold and raw colour tones to excite their imaginations and complement the lyrical journey of the story text.
